Start A Blog

Use your knowledge and expertise to create a blog. If you know everything there is to know about the music industry or if you are an expert in DIY home-decor projects, start a blog and create content around those areas. You can use a blog-creating platform like WordPress, Blogger, Medium or Squarespace to name a few. Make sure you optimize your blog to generate more traffic, update that content regularly and pair your content with captivating social media marketing. You can make money being a blogger by becoming an affiliate, selling advertising space, creating a course or webinar that people can sign up to or start a subscription business once you have grown a significant following.

Invest In Stocks

This may sound like a daunting feat, but it does not have to be thanks to the internet. The stock market is no longer a secret club only certain people can join. Any and all information you need about stocks can be found online. Whether you use a stock trading platform like MetaTrader 4 or you trade stocks on your own, it is a great way to make extra money without you having to do much.

Freelance

There are plenty of options to turn to when you are a freelancer. You can use your expertise and knowledge to write content and submit it to relevant websites that pay for submissions. Another option is to offer content writing services. Almost every business needs web content, articles, blog posts and press releases. You can either create a freelancer profile on online platforms like Fiverr, Upwork and Guru to name a few. Videos, infographics and images are also needed and you could be the freelancer to provide that to a variety of business’ websites, blogs and social media platforms.

Utilize Your Property

This may or not work, but if you have the extra space, rent out your room. You could use platforms like Airbnb or Couchsurfing to make you enough money to pay your mortgage or rent. Using all your resources like your property is also an excellent way to make extra money, especially if you live in a desirable place. If you have a second home that you barely frequent, rent that out when you are not using it. Treat your property like a business or a way you can make money.

Publish A Book

Though this option may take the most time out of all the other options, it is still a good way to make passive income. Thanks to the advances in technology, you can self-publish and sell it in a digital format.
