A Franchise

When it comes to making the start-up of your new business as easy as possible, the franchise is probably your best bet.

Basically, a franchise, like those you’ll find at Franchise Direct, are ready-made businesses where all you have to do is pay the requested fee and you’ll be granted to operate using a well-known company name, all of their branding and marketing materials, preferred suppliers, and have access to all of the wealth and knowledge that has been gained by those who came before you.

Famous examples of franchise businesses include Subway, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell. If you have the money to spend, investing in a franchise will give you a quick ‘in’ to the world of business and possibly your best chance of hitting the ground running.

Online services

From copywriting to graphic design, if you have a skill that other people need, which can be delivered remotely online, you can very easily set up your own business offering that very service with little more than your own blog or website (which will only cost you a few dollars) and some smart marketing.

Start out by freelancing, using websites like Upwork and People Per Hour to pick up clients and earn testimonials, then as you build a reputation, you can start to branch out, offer more services, and maybe even take on other freelancers so that you can work more projects and earn even more money.

This is the perfect option for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the world of running a business before fully committing as it is a business model that you can easily set up to work in your spare time.

Fulfilled by Amazon

Ecommerce is big news now, especially with the current coronavirus restrictions that are affecting so much of the world, but it can be hard to break into the market, right?

Not necessarily, not if you go down the Fulfilled by Amazon route whereby you send your products to Amazon who will store them at their warehouses and sell them on your behalf for a fee.

All you need to do is choose a great product and write, or have someone else write decent product descriptions. Throw in a bit of marketing and you could be making lots of money on your own terms with a lot less effort than you might think possible. After all, Amazon is the biggest online retailer on the planet.

Good luck with your new business whatever it may be.
